and YES. "I Not Stupid Too" was such a wonderful movie and i never regretted watching it again.

and yes, it has sucessfully made a tough girl like me cry.

well, can't blame me. it was really touching.

even the BROTHERS cried.

anyways- i'm going to type some stuffs here about "I Not Stupid Too". it's going to be spoilers. x)

you are warned.

some really nice scenes i've received from I Not Stupid Too. Jerry, the little 8-year-old kid, has been trying his best to ask his parents to watch his performance. but for many days, they didn't seemed to have the time to even talk to him on phone. Jerry then overheard a conversation his dad had on phone. his dad told him that he was making big business. and people need to pay him $500 to buy one hour of his time.

Jerry started acting weird. he stopped eating during recess and sold all his precious toys. everyone thought he was saving up to buy the pokemon cards. and we see Jerry stealing the canteen auntie's money. the school caught him in camera and asked his parents over. his parents were furious about it. his dad took and cane and canned him. said why did he had to steal? to buy pokemon cards? had he not have enough? jerry said he wasn't trying to buy the pokemon cards. his dad screamed and asked, "then, what?!"

"i wanted to buy one hour of your time."

man. it was so touching. his parents were filled with tears and all.

and jerry later on came up to his parents and showed him a paper with the word, "FAMILY" written on it. and he asked parents to guess what it means. Jerry explained. "Father And Mother I Love You". how sweet. such innocence of a young kid.

and tom. he blogged something really touching in the movie and when his parents read what he had blogged, they cried, and we, the audience, teared too. and the last few scenes where chencai and tom had to steal to seal the "police officers" mouths. tom's dad was begging the old lady not to tell the real policeman that his son had stolen her necklace. he begged the old lady to tell the police that it was he, the father himself, that had stolen her necklace. and he even went further by begging her on his knees. man, it was so touching.

and chencai. this is ultimate. in the hospital where chencai's father laid unconscious, chencai's father's good friend, this auntie, sort of scolded chencai. she said all these to him:

laying there is your father. are you happy now? you don't appreciate your dad. did you know that when you were expelled, your dad went to all the schools in Singapore to plead for you to let them keep you? you know your dad can't even write ABC properly and he asked me help he write a letter. he copied 167 copies of that letter in english, word-by-word, by hand, and sent it to all the secondary schools in Singapore. you father loves you too much. but he doesn't know how to love you.

and when chencai's dad was dying on the bed, he told he son, "i love you". seemed simple, but really touching, because he breathed out the words. and what was more was that on his deathbed, the last thing he had said was him, pleading the principal to allow chencai to go back school.

it's like, he's dying, and he was still thinking about his son.

i cried a lot in this movie. i think there are more touching scenes.

AWWW. nice movie. no- GREAT movie.
